What is Dane's Edge?
Dane's Edge is a proprietary trading indicator for TradingView that identifies high-probability setups on NQ and MNQ futures. The system is fully mechanical — when a signal fires, you take the trade. No discretion, no guesswork, no emotions.
What markets does this trade?
Dane's Edge is built exclusively for Nasdaq-100 futures: NQ (E-mini) and MNQ (Micro E-mini) on the 5-minute chart. It has not been tested or optimized for any other instruments.
How many signals per week should I expect?
On average, 3–5 trades per week. Some weeks may have more, some may have none. The system is selective by design — it only fires when all conditions align. Quality over quantity.
Do I need to sit at my computer all day?
No. The system covers two sessions — the New York morning session and the overnight Globex session — so you get opportunities whether you trade mornings or evenings. Set up push notifications on your phone through TradingView and you'll receive an alert when a signal fires. You don't need to watch the screen — the alert tells you exactly when to act.
What platform and broker do I need?
You need a TradingView account (Pro plan or higher recommended for mobile alerts) and a futures broker that supports NQ/MNQ trading, such as Tradovate, NinjaTrader, or AMP Futures. The indicator runs on TradingView — you execute trades through your broker separately.
Do I need TradingView Pro?
The indicator will display on any TradingView plan, but you need Pro or higher to receive push notification alerts on your phone. Without alerts, you'd have to watch the chart manually.
Is this automated or do I place trades manually?
Currently, you place trades manually based on the signals. When the arrow prints on your chart and you receive an alert, you enter the trade in your broker with the stop and target levels shown on the chart. A fully automated tier is planned for the future.
What's the risk-to-reward ratio?
Every trade uses a proprietary adaptive risk-to-reward ratio that adjusts based on the current market environment. The system calculates optimal stop and target levels for each signal. It also includes built-in breakeven management that automatically identifies the optimal time to move your stop to entry and protect your position.
What are the pricing options?
Every plan includes the same product — both Dane's Edge indicators (NY Session + Overnight Globex), all signals, alerts, member chat access, and the Quick Start Setup Guide. The only difference is commitment length. Monthly is $49.99/mo and you can cancel anytime. The 6-Month plan is $249.99 (saves you $50 vs monthly) and locks in your access for a full market cycle — enough time to see the system work through different conditions.
Can I see the live track record?
Yes. Every trade is logged publicly at danesedge.com with a live equity curve, full trade history, win rate, profit factor, and other key stats. Wins and losses — nothing is hidden.
Can I change the indicator settings?
No. The settings are hardcoded and optimized through 5+ years of backtesting. This is intentional — it removes the temptation to over-optimize or second-guess the system.
How do I get started after I subscribe?
After purchase, send your TradingView username to Dane via the Whop chat or DM on X (@danetradess). You'll be added to the invite-only indicators within 24 hours — usually much faster. Once added, follow the Quick Start Setup Guide to add the indicator to your chart, set up alerts, and place your first trade. Most members are fully set up within 15 minutes.
